Operations In-Charge (Engineering & Operations Department)

Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day activities of engineering, operations, and facilities management functions.

The role focuses on ensuring smooth operations, efficient facility management, and full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Role Details

Location: Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone
Salary: AED 6,000 – AED 7,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of engineering, maintenance, and facility activities.
• Oversee facilities management including buildings, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with internal teams, service providers, and contractors.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle vendor management, service contracts, and cost control.
• Prepare operational reports and support planning and budgeting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations and facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and vendor management.
• Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
